The Call

From the Headwaters to the Nations

“He makes springs pour water into the ravines; it flows between the mountains.” — Psalm 104:10

The River Flows Through the Land

Every river begins at a source—a place so small you can step across it. But what begins as a trickle becomes a torrent, and what flows from one place touches everything downstream. The Mississippi River, born in Minnesota’s Itasca headwaters, carries the waters of revival not just through one state, but through the entire nation.

Minnesota is such a place. Throughout the centuries, the Holy Spirit has moved upon this land with increasing power and purpose—from the earliest missions among the Ojibwe people, to Scandinavian revival fires, to Strawberry Lake, to modern intercessory movements.

The Threshing Floor

A threshing floor is a place of separation, winnowing, testing, and refinement. Minnesota has become a threshing floor for the American church: a place where the true is separated from the false, and where God reclaims what the enemy meant for destruction as ground for revival.

The Sending State

The Mississippi begins here. The Great Lakes system touches the nations. From northern Minnesota, waters move in multiple directions. This is prophecy written into the landscape: God is gathering, refining, and equipping a sending force.

The Prophetic Word for 2026

The time has come to turn Minnesota red—not with blood shed in violence, but with the blood of Jesus Christ, shed for the redemption of the world.

This is a call to a 32-day fast and prayer. Not a fast from food alone, though that may be part of it for some. This is a fast from distraction, complacency, and the spirit of slumber that has gripped the church.

In 1987, a prophetic word came from Argentina through Harold Cavieros: “God is ready to stir up the Great Lakes and pour them out down the Mississippi River. The greatest revival the world has ever known is coming. Minneapolis-St. Paul will become an epicenter for apostolic sending and anointing.” That word has been prayed over for nearly forty years.

The 32-Day Awakening

Days 1–10

Repentance and Cleansing

Examine the heart, repent from compromise, forgive, release bitterness, and ask God to cleanse every barrier to His love.

Days 11–20

Intercession and Warfare

Stand in the gap for the nation, awaken the sleeping church, pray for the lost, and declare the Kingdom over cities and states.

Days 21–32

Commissioning and Sending

Those breathed into the heart of God are breathed out as river-bearers carrying revival into families, workplaces, schools, and nations.

The Power Source

We cannot do this in our own strength. The 32-day fast is not about earning God’s favor. It is about positioning ourselves to receive His power and removing the barriers—unforgiveness, pride, fear, doubt—that prevent us from being filled with His love and sent as carriers of His presence.

In recent years, intercessors have walked prayer routes across this nation. From coast to coast, they have laid cords of mercy. From Miami to Seattle, they have laid a power cord. And where do these cords converge? In the heart of the nation. In the headwaters. In Minnesota.

The Call to River-Bearers

Awaken. Repent. Intercede. Receive. Go. The river does not just flow ahead of you. You are meant to carry it wherever you go.

Prayer of Commissioning

Father, we stand at the threshold of a great outpouring. We acknowledge that we cannot do this in our own strength. We need You. We need Your love. We need Your power.

In this hour, we repent. We turn from our idols. We forgive those who have hurt us. We release bitterness and fear. We choose to love as You love.

We ask You to breathe us in. Draw us into the chamber of Your heart. Let us touch the wall of Your heart and receive Your love. Transform us. Change us. Make us carriers of Your presence.

And then, Father, breathe us out. Send us. Use us to carry revival to our families, our communities, our nation, and to the ends of the earth.

We declare that Minnesota will turn red with the blood of Jesus. We declare that the church will awaken. We declare that the greatest revival the world has ever known is coming. In Jesus’ name, amen.
